Anatomie I - Prototypes for the Homo Sapiens X
July 2021 Pavillon Milchhof, Berlin; with Rickie Edens, Joa Glasstetter
video documentation
The source material are biological fictions about the Homo Sapiens X.
These humans have slightly different bodies than we do. They see, hear
or smell a little differently and have gained additional skills and modes
of cooperation and new relationships with the world in which they live.
Anatomie VI - ein Wasserspiel
August 2022, Pavillon Milchhof, Berlin
with Lina Gómez, Mariana Romagnani, Joa Glasstetter, Emma Juliard
video documentation
From fiction to dancing bodies to fog creatures.
The dancer takes the anatomical differences of the H.Sapiens X as a
field and searches in her body for the shifts between herself and them.
We record her movements with sensors and transmit this data to a
technical object on which it is transformed into a dancing spray mist.
Quartett for the Homo Sapiens X
November 2022
with Rickie Edens, Gabriele Hänel, David Moss, Hannes Strobl
They develop voice and sound material based on the H.S.X stories.
In the performance it will grow into a polyphonic resonance space.
Research funded by the Performing Arts Fund with Funds from the
German Governement Commisioner for Culture and Media as part of
NEUSTART KULTUR.
